Sick

Greetings from the sick room. I have been stricken with the flu. I was supposed to get a flu shot, but didn't wait for the nurse. Boy, am I trying to kick myself.

It's not been too bad. I have missed work, which is where I got the bug to begin with. Reminder: if you are sick, don't go to work. They won't give you a raise, or any kind of benefit for going to work sick. Stay home.

My good friend Dave came to see me, and I believe he will get the flu. Don't ask me why, its just a feeling I have. HA!

I have been watching a lot of TV, most of which is bad. The show I love to laugh at is Ghost Hunters. These guys look for ghosts that people tell them they have in their business or homes. What is so funny is that the proof they come up with is pretty much them scaring themselves. If you want a hoot, watch this show.

Top Chef started their new season, and the competition is really hot this year. I've already picked a few favorites, and can't wait for the next episode. I have actually learned a lot from watching this show. Not only about cooking, but about presentation and color of the food you serve.  This is a good show to watch.

I watch Angel and Charmed, which I love. Go ahead, call me shallow, call me crazy, I love this stuff. I guess it appeals to the kid in me. What could be more fun than magic?

OK you are shallow and you are crazy :)

Get well soon.

I didn't know you had to be shallow and crazy to watch those TV programs. If that's true then you can call me the same.

I have to check the guide for Ghost Hunters. I've not seen it. I like to watch one called Most Haunted which sounds similar to GH. It's from the UK. The team goes into all these old castles and other old buildings to hunt for ghosts. See if you can find it in your tv guide.

I'm glad you decided to check in. I think Dave is keeping you too busy.

You 'n' Babzy, huh? Hmmmm.
Sorry about your flu. It's miserable I understand from a neighbor who has had recurring bouts for almost two months now. Take care of yourself and remember Green New Mexican Chili heals and prevents that problem. (I figured you'd believe that canard, seeing the TV shows you watch.) Smooches and get well.

Okay. So both you and Babzy are shallow and crazy. The best shows on TV are Mythbusters and Deadliest Catch.
For something completely mind numbing watch wrestling.

I'll be damned! That's the way I caught the flu, too! Not from your friend Dave I mean, but.........:)

I didn't mean that you should call me crazy and call me shallow literally. It was a figure of speech, so to speak. But, alas, tis true.

SJ: You want me to show you how to catch the flu? HA!

Moose: My favorite wrestler has always been and will always be the Nature Boy, Rick Flair!!!!

Babzy: I have seen Most Haunted, and it is actually scary. The Brits always seem to do us one better.

Cat: Chili, Huh? Sounds like it would give me the green-apple two step...HA!!

Future: Ain't we a pair...of what..I dunno..HA!

Do you think flair's career will end at this Wrestlemania. He is almost as old as me.

Nope, he's gonna beat the crap out of Sean Micheal...see, I watch this stuff, too, sometimes. I love the Big Show, too, and figure he will pulverize Floyd Mayweather...HA!
