Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your love & your loss. I know it is so very difficult for you & really, it's so very important for all of us to remember. Very courageous & giving of you. I couldn't help but notice that your son, like you, shared a love of dogs. To me, that's always a reflection of the purest & most basic love. You two have been very blessed to have had one another & you both continue to bless us. thank you. just beautiful.
(((sweet peace & love to you)))

Oh Deb.. I came over here to tell you I left a little surprise for you on my blog and look what I found.

What a beautiful tribute to your son! This may sound odd but I felt a sense of peace while watching it. Move over, I need to sit for awhile.

That was beautiful. I can see how proud of him you are and feel all your love for him.

When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me
I want no tears in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me...but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friend we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me...but let me go.

The oddest thing is that you think when you have that little baby in your arms it belongs to you, but it really belongs to the world. You have brought another life in the world to share what gifts they have with people they meet, and Travis had a lot of gifts to share. Just thinking about Travis will bring a smile to many faces, or stir a memory of "hey, remember the time Travis...", and these are priceless things.
