Your Score: Katharine Hepburn

You scored 23% grit, 28% wit, 52% flair, and 19% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

Find out what kind of classic leading man you'd make by taking the Classic Leading Man Test.

I got this from Anne and got the same result she did. I guess we are both a little on the oddball side. But the site it came from, a dating site, I guess, was a real eye-opener. Seems to be based on age, so I got paired up with a bunch of mostly old farts, which, unfortunately, is exactly where I belong.

That's not what got me, though. Its the old farts that are into S&M, or D&S, or whatever the hell they call it now. I shouldn't be surprised though. Seems like a few of the young couples on the street where I live have a blast beating the crap out of each other every weekend.

And then there are some wonderful profiles of genuinely nice people, not the least bit old farty, one especially I just had to respond to. No, I'm not looking for anybody. (Except maybe that Russian guy). Ok, enough about him.

I'm kinda hoping this little high period I've found, probably due to the switch in meds, stays around for a little longer. I know I have more energy. We'll see. You'll know its a problem when I start writing about a wonderful man I just moved in with named T-Bone, and how we're looking for investors in our new Alpaca farm.

Would you believe I am also Katharine Hepburn! That's good.

Hot Damn...I am Katherine Hepburn too...I think the test is rigged...I took one of these before, and I was Rita Hayworth...Have I changed that much in the last year?

Hmmm... Weird that we're all Katharine Hepburn, but I've seen a few people who are like other stars too. Maybe we get along well because we're alike.

You signed up and wrote to a guy? I hope that works out for you.

No, Anne, I don't want it work out. I just thought he was a nice a guy, or sounded like a nice guy, and wrote and told him so. At times I am, oh, what's the word?, impulsive? I think we're all Katherine's truly because we are all strong, charismatic, out-spoken and incredibly witty women...maybe..

I am Carole Lombard, I don't believe I have actually seen her. Is it good or bad

This is weird. I rented a movie last night called The Aviator starring Leonardo Dicaprio as Howard Hughes and Cate Blanchett as guess who? Katherine Hepburn.

I didn't know very much about Howard Hughes's story and certainly didn't know he was involved with Katherine Hepburn.

Don't you think it's funny that I ended up with a movie about the very woman some of us seem to emulate.

If this movie accurately portrays Katherine Hepburn, I really like her. A woman ahead of her time in so many ways.

Oh, Dawn, I love Carole Lumbard! She was married to Clark Cable....she was quite the comedian...you are like her!

Whew! I didn't want to sound negative, but I'm kinda relieved you don't plan to date that guy. I'm paranoid about personal ads, dating sites and that sort of thing. I suspect 99.999 percent of those guys are freaks.

Well! Clink! Here's to all us Katherines!

Babzy, I've watched the Aviator, and it seems as though Katherine was one of the few people Howard Hughes could almost trust. My favorite movie of hers is The Lion in Winter.

Dawn, I agree with No. You would have loved Carol Lombard. Clark Gable did, passionately, theirs was the love affair of their era.

Singleton, Three cheers to the Katherines of this world. Let's all have a shot of tequila!

Anne, interesting comment you made about online dating and personal ads. I'm going to write a post about that. Not today but check my blog now and then.
