New Template

Well, I thought it was time for a change, so here it is: a brand new template that also lost all my pictures. It looks like I still might have about 4 or 5 readers, but that's ok. I never was good at popularity contests...

Ok, the last debate, old news now, but I thought it was a good debate. I kept waiting for John McCain to start foaming at the mouth, but he didn't. I was a little disappointed, but then, you can't have everything...It was a pleasant change to see John McCain actually look Obama in the face. He didn't even call him dipshit, junior, him setting yonder, or anything like that.

Somehow, don't ask me why, but Virginia has become a pivotal state, in that a lot of the people here can't make up their minds about who to vote for. Being a republican strong hold for many years, it does offer a glimpse of hope that maybe things are a changing after all. However, I did ask a local businessman what he thought about the debate, and he immediately jumped on the problems with Acorn, and how Mickey Mouse is now a registered voter....most probably an independent!

I am so sick of hearing about Bill Ayers and Acorn, I could scream. Joe the plumber is right up, too. What's bad about good old Joe, who isn't even named Joe!!, is now he has every fact checker and his ugly ass brother digging dirt up about him!! God what a nightmare for him and his family...and remember, it was McCain who seized on the concept of Joe the Plumber to represent the hard working, trying to get ahead, "everyman".

Oh, well, not much more back-stabbing left for the candidates. I know who I'm voting for, do you?

Nice template but your blog title that background pic with the cats are both white so can't see read the text.

I have been following this US election more closely than even any local election. Very interesting actually though I might pretend being bored.

Let's hope and pray that typically Republican strongholds like Virginia and my home state of Tennessee will be swayed to support Obama in the coming election. Can you believe there are still people who are undecided? I mean, how different could these two candidates be?!?

I can't help but think that if McCain _______ (fill in the blank yourself) Palin would step in as Pres.

Palin, if you are reading Deb's blog, no offense but you are very irritating, a little scary, and you have become a joke.

If my kid belonged to the same hockey club as yours and we ended up selling hotdogs together, your irritating ways would force me to shove a hot dog up your nose, spray you with mustard, and send you packing.

i LOVE, LOVE, your new template...love the pic...where is it?

Can't help agree with your views on the candidates..wouldn't you know it, this last debate is the one I didn't watch (HAD to watch the finale of Project Runway instead-dont' you know..)...and then came all this stuff about Joe the plumber...who is this guy anyway?

I've been lurking around here for a few months, and had to finally post!

I'll be so glad when the election is over, but even more so when the correct man is in the white house.

Right now, I can't decide who I love more, Obama for being such a great candidate, or Tina Fey for hitting the Alaskan nail on the head SO WELL every weekend. If I couldn't laugh at that silly woman (sarah, and Tina, actually), I would have to cry over the mere thought of her being in any position of power...

Anyway, love your blog, and the new banner is really great!

SJ, I took your suggestions about my template to heart, and made a few more changes. I know it is probably annoying to keep reading about our elections, but, what can I say? I feel it is so very important to our country...

Stephen, I know what you mean. How can anyone not have picked their candidate by now? To me its a clear choice of the sane versus the insane...

Craze, Virginia is part red, part blue. And according to Pfotenhauer, "But the rest of the state, 'real Virginia,' if you will, I think will be very responsive to Senator McCain’s message," which is loosely translated to mean white conservative Virginia...

Leah, I agree so much. The woman is enormously irritating, and is more or a hockey puck than a soccer mom..

Joe the Plumber is a guy who asked Obama about taxes he would pay if he bought the business he worked for. Asked an innocent question and became the cornerstone of the third debate...his real name is Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher...

Nicky, welcome, and its ironic to me how much my views of Alaska have changed since Sarah Palin. Which really sucks...Tina Fey is a genius!!

Woozie, Always good to see you here. I do read your blog, but can never think of anything profound enough to say in the comment section...

Well it looks like you have your readers back, I was waiting for McCain to pop a blood vesel. I am worried about the electoral college votes since we learned the last time our votes don't count. I like the new look. Leah are you our old friend.

Dawn, I worry about that too. I honestly think it will be a dark day for America is McCain is elected president.

Good to see you here!

I find it not a question of whom I would FOR, but whom I will vote AGAINST. It's sad. Neither of these clowns deserves my valuable vote.
