I am so glad I don't have to set with pen and paper. I would never do more than doodle little flowers. I don't know what is up with me, but there is nothing I really want to write about. Well, there is, but I'm not too sure I want to just yet. I have forsaken the news. It is too depressing. I wish I could get passionate about politics, but I can't. I don't see any candidate out there that is going to make any significant changes. It will take four years to undo the crap George leaves behind. If Al Gore had taken a chance, I might be passionate. The man who should be president.
Anyway, I know I'll catch hell for supporting Al Gore, and I don't give a damn!!
Here is a picture that a nice gentile lady sent me. I will share with you.

Girl, let me tell you something Gore was cheated out of the presidency. He was what this country and the people wanted. If it was up to me someone should have been arrested for the whole mess. I now could care less about the race since our vote doesn't count. What a great Democracy. Anyhoo I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Little League starts Sat so you know it's supposed to rain. I love ya
I hope the creative juices start flowing soon.
Personally I don't think much of Al Gore. His environmental views scare me. The biggest polluting factor in the world are not cars or factories it is poverty. As more people can afford better technologies the pollution problem will solve itself. Cutting down emissions in the US is useless if developing countries are just going to get the factories closing there.
That is the best picture! I love it!!!
And I'm with you. I wish Al Gore was running. It would make all the difference in the world.
Sorry you are not feeling like writing Deb.
I must say though that I disagree with you about Gore. I think he has perpetrated the greatest myth the world has ever seen with his movie.
Love you anyway.
Dawn, Stephen, Al Gore forever!!!!
Moose, SJ, I hear and appreciate your comments on Gore. The biggest threat to our existence as a planet is the destruction of our rain forests. That is my most humble opinion.
Moose, love you too, and Dawn, back atcha!
I agree with you on that point Deb. I think that is why ALL countries need to reduce their carbon output. China, India and Brazil included. And I don't think a cap and trade systems works. The rich (Gore, Suzuki et al.) don't stop leaving a footprint, they just buy their way out of it. Theoretically.
If Al Gore stayed in politics he wouldn't have made his movie. If I could vote and if he ran for pres I would vote for him but I think he does more good doing his environmental thing. I really admire him. Maybe he doesn't have everything right with regard to global warming but he has used his celebrity to draw attention to it and get people pumped. His movie, alone, has created a huge wave of environmental concern and that can't be a bad thing.
that is one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen! And I know just how you feel about pen and paper....
Hand me a pen and Im off into another world.....
Peace~love
Good points, Moose and Babzy. I just ask myself would we be in Iraq if Gore was President. I keep telling myself no. What worries me is the mean temperature is rising a fraction of a degree each year. That may not seem like much, but over a span of years, it means a lot. Babzy, it seems odd that 20 years ago Sting was trotting around in the Rain Forest in the Amazon basin trying to do the same thing that Gore has done with his movie.
Singleton, good to see you here.
